Wing Clipped
Mabon Sevilla, Prince of Ava, is falsely accused of murdering his Avan mate and is exiled to Earth as punishment. While living among humans, he falls in love with one of them.
But, when a cruel tyrant from Mabon’s past threatens Ava, he must choose between staying on Earth with his new family or returning to Ava to stop the tyrant from starting a war and taking the throne.
In Wing Clipped, m. a. Arana tells the story of a prince who must overcome the mistrust of his kingdom and outmaneuver a formidable enemy in order to reclaim his place as leader. This is a gripping tale of redemption and the fight for power.

Reviews
In Wing Clipped, the prose and poetry weave into each other, creating a compelling narrative that hooks the reader right away, creating tension and drama. With the human/otherworldly love thread and Twilight feel, Wing Clipped is the kind of story fantasy readers won’t want to put down!

Arana has given us a book rich in detail while building a most unusual and intriguing world. The characters are well defined and the plot and sub-plots will keep you on your toes. Wonderfully imaginative!

Going between two worlds, m.a. Arana weaves an intriguing story in Wing Clipped that involves good and evil. With twists, turns and surprises, the reader can’t help but turn the page.
Much appreciated is how Arana set up an introduction of all the characters at the beginning of her book, much like a theatre playlist.
I look forward to reading the next Wings installment.

Wing Clipped wastes no time engaging the reader in a tale about power, betrayal, love, and a conflict between loyalty and destiny tying it all together. Will our heroes rise to the call? Will their families be torn apart by lies? Will evil prevail by exploiting the conflicts of a complex past and a nation divided? You won't be able to put this book down until you get the answers.

"Wing Clipped was amazing! It was easy to follow, but it kept your interest."
